Zucchini and hazelnut salad

Page 70, Ottolenghi

No failure, by far, but one of the less impressive dishes that I have attempted from this cookbook. In it’s defense,  it did make B have a second helping of a zucchini dish, which is an impressive feat given her general dislike of the summer squash family of vegetables. The shaved parmesan may have helped with that.  And Jaime seemed to enjoy the leftovers. Leftovers are one of the greatest parts of this Year of Plenty – delicious meals usually make delicious leftovers for lunch the next day or a terrific gift to dear friends.  This salad fed us both for dinner *and* still had leftovers for the next day!
