The year of plenty is my attempt to cook through two fabulous new cookbooks that have come into my life, Plenty: Vibrant Recipes from London’s Ottolenghi by Yotam Ottolenghi and Plenty by Diana Henry, all while trying to really appreciate the plenty and abundance of my life. It is an exercise in both cooking, and in cultivating an attitude of plenty and the gratitude that it requires – hopefully on a daily basis. So far the only rules are that I will attempt to cook as many of the recipes as possible, and will document them here, along with my ongoing work on that whole concept of plenty. I often need good reminders of the plenty that I do have, along with the plenty that I am able to create. For me, plenty consists of delicious meals, abundant love, vibrant community, flowing creativity, and joyful intention. Creation ahead, friends!
